Smugglers’ Notch Distillery® currently offers three exquisite vodkas made from the finest grains combined with pure Vermont spring water: our signature award-winning original; a Gluten Free Organic version; and Moroccan Rose & Grapefruit Flavored Vodka, the first of our Reserve Series offering unique and natural vodka flavors. We also have two true-distilled gins – Blend No. 802 and Hopped Gin.
Our brown spirits include three remarkable bourbons: Straight Bourbon Whiskey; Dead Buck, a limited release 108 proof bourbon; and Maple Bourbon. We also make a premium bourbon barrel aged single-barrel amber Rum and a luscious Rye Whiskey.

Maple Bourbon Whiskey
This quintessentially Vermont whiskey is made by infusing our gold medal 2016 World Spirits Competition award winning straight bourbon whiskey with 100% pure organic Vermont maple syrup that has been aged in our used bourbon barrels. This multi-step process requires invaluable time and patience to achieve a balance of rich and spicy, charred oak and sweet maple tones that overlay each other like a perfect fall Vermont mountain landscape.
The alchemy of a Father/Son dream brings you Smugglers’ Notch Maple Rum, a trifecta barrel aged rum. Maple Rum is made with Vermont spring water and molasses and is aged 3 years in charred white oak barrels, 2 years in Smugglers’ Notch Distillery bourbon barrels, and 1 year in our 100% pure Vermont maple syrup bourbon barrels. Our unique rum has a delicate maple nose, complex whiskey overtones, and a sweet/smooth finish.
Blend No. 802 Gin
Blend No. 802 is a premium 88-proof true distilled gin hand-crafted in small batches. Reviewed in the November issue of Food and Wine magazine in a select group of “favorite new small-batch gins from around the U.S. dubbed part of an American Gin Renaissance,” Blend No. 802 evolved through over 75 different trial renditions created by co-owner distiller Jeremy Elliott and final selection by a crowdsourcing effort that called on the taste buds of over 200 Vermonters from around the state. Suspending a fusion of juniper berries and select aromatic botanicals in the gin still vapor path produces delicate juniper, citrus, spicy, and floral aromas and a long, smooth, velvety cascade of intriguing flavors. Moroccan Rose & Grapefruit Flavored Vodka
The May 2019 launch of our Reserve Series Moroccan Rose & Grapefruit Flavored Vodka combines Moroccan rose botanicals and pink grapefruit flavors with our award winning 95-Point Wine Enthusiast vodka. Using real ingredients and natural flavors we have created a vodka with a fantastic nose, midpalate complexity, and extremely satisfying finish. The bright grapefruit nose transitions to a silky/slightly tart midpalate experience and finishes with a superb rose floral note. With no artificial flavors, sweeteners or sugar, the R Series Moroccan Rose & Grapefruit Flavored Vodka is the perfect way to celebrate the weekend while relaxing with friends. Vodka is different from other spirits because it is pure with nothing added to mask the natural flavor. For Smugglers’ Notch Vodka, the grains are sourced from Idaho, where the combination of light alluvial soil, cool nights, warm days, and snowmelt water creates a spectacular growing environment. The water for blending emanates from the Mount Mansfield watershed in northern Vermont.
Maple Cream Liqueur
Smugglers’ Notch Distillery’s Vermont Maple Cream Liqueur is an indulgent blend of Vermont’s flavors created in our unique SND way. We start with our extraordinary rum which is aged for 3 years in charred white oak barrels and finished off with double aging in SND bourbon barrels for an additional year to infuse complex whiskey overtones. We then marry this with 100% pure, organic Vermont maple syrup from a local sugarbush and fresh cream.
Smugglers’ Notch Distillery is proud to offer a rye whiskey blended from a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and aged in new American charred oak barrels. This special technique results in a balanced rye whiskey of remarkably rich yet smooth character. From start to finish, cherry, vanilla, buttery toffee, mulling spice, oak and peppery notes swirl in a deliciously sweet and fiery warm embrace for the senses.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Rum
Our award-winning, premium single-barrel extra aged amber rum offers an intriguing flavor profile. Aged for 3 years in charred white oak barrels, the process is finished off with double-aging in 4 year-old whiskey barrels to infuse complex whiskey overtones.
